INDIA’S FIRST ELEPHANT HOSPITAL OPENS IN MATHURA

Anil Kumar, Commissioner of Agra Division of the country's first elephant hospital, inaugurated on Friday on the Churmura village of Farhal block between Mathura-Agra. Wildlife SOS, which is working on the conservation of extinct species of animals, has done this hospital in collaboration with the Forest Department, which has created X-ray, ultrasonography and other machinery and pathology lab with the latest cutting-edge treatment techniques. .

Elephant protection center is being conducted by Wild Life SOS in Churmura village in Farh Block, Mathura, in which elephants rescued from all parts of the country are kept here. At the same time, this institution is also operating the Bear Conservation Center in Kitham of Agra. Now the institution has opened the country's first hospital for elephants in the 12,000 square feet area near the Elephant Conservation Center adjacent to the Thurmura village of Farah in association with the Forest Department.

Treatment of elephants in this hospital can be done in a modern way. In the hospital, the digital X-ray machine, dental X-ray machine, ultrasonography, hydrotherapy, laser treatment etc. will be available to the elephants here. Along with this, a Pathology Lab has also been formed in the hospital for other investigations.
