Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is going to conduct COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION [CWE] FOR RECRUITMENT IN CLERICAL CADRE IN 20 PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS
Read the following information carefully; as you are going to face new challenge as per the new format of the IBPS Bank Clerk CWE-2012-13 First of all look at the prescribed changes in the Selection Procedure and Pattern of Examination:
MORE OPPORTUNIES LIE AHEAD
20 Public Sector Banks are participating in the IBPS Clerk CWE-II instead of 19 Banks. IDBI Bank is the new entrant.
CHANGE IN THE PATTERN OF EXAM
CWE will be conducted online. Now, you have to click right answers. There is no need of darkening the oval on OMR Answer sheet by HB Pencil.It will certainly save your valuable time in the examination hall.
It means now you are in advantageous position.
200 OBJECTIVE QUESTIONS WILL BE ASKED
An online Written Examination will be held for 200 marks comprising 200 Objective Questions divided into Five Sections. Earlier, 250 Objective Questions were asked in the IBPS Bank Clerk CWE.
NEW SELECTION PROCEDURE
Selection Procedure has been modified. Now you will come out successful through Common Written Examination and also Common Interview. Once, the two phases of examination are completed you become eligible for appointment as per the marks secured in CWE and Common Interview.
UNFORMITY OF EXAMINATION SCHEME
The Uniformity of Selection Scheme will enhance the chance of selection. So, you are not required to face so many interviews to get a job in Bank Clerical Cadre. Scorecard will not be only a decorative document now; it will become gate pass for a job in Banks. Now, there is no divergent path. There is concentration of rays. The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If for any question a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as wrong even if one of the given answers happens to be right and 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
