SSC CGL Tier-I Exam Pattern

Tier-I exam of SSC CGL 2018 is an online mode of examination having 4 sections in total. The total marks allotted for all the sections is 200 and the total time allotted for the completion of all the sections of Tier-I exam is 60 minutes. A cumulative time of 80 minutes is allotted to physically handicapped students. 0.5 marks will be deducted from every question that is attempted wrong by a candidate in SSC CGL 2018 exam.

SSC CGL 2018 Tier-II Exam Pattern

Tier-II exam has a total mark of 200. A total of 100 questions are asked in each section with 200 questions asked in the English Language Section. A time limit of 2 hours is provided to the candidate to complete each section of SSC CGL 2018 Tier-II Exam.
The cumulative time to complete Tier-II exam is increased to 2 hours 40 minutes in case of physically handicapped students. 0.25 marks is deducted as penalty for attempting a question wrong.

SSC CGL Tier III Exam Pattern

Tier-III of SSC CGL 2018 exam is a descriptive exam to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. The mode of examination is offline and students are required to write essays, précis, application, letter etc. in this exam. The exam carries 100 marks and the time allotted for the same is 60 minutes. The time allotted for candidates belonging to PWD category is increased to 80 minutes. Tier-III paper is given by specific candidates who are interested only for the post of “Statistical Investigator Grade II” & “Compiler”.

SSC CGL Tier IV Exam Pattern

Tier-IV examination comprises of couple of skill sets required for certain Government Posts all over the country.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2018

SSC CHSL exam has three different phases that candidates need to clear to get selected for various posts in the Government Offices. SSC CHSL Tier I is Objective Multiple Choice Question paper, Tier II exam is Descriptive Paper in English/Hindi, while Tier III is the Computer Proficiency Test.

SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam Pattern

SSC CHSL Tier-II is a descriptive test that is conducted to test the written skills of candidates in English/Hindi. The paper involves writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter/Application writing of about 150-200 words. The minimum marks that a candidate needs to qualify SSC CHSL Tier-II are 33 per cent.

SSC CHSL Tier-III Exam Pattern

The Tier III of SSC CGL 2018 comprises of a couple of skill tests which are needed for selection to certain government posts.

SSC CPO SI, ASI Exam Pattern 2018

SSC SI & ASI written exam will include two Papers; Paper I (Pre) & Paper II (Mains). Both the papers will be conducted online. Questions in both the papers will be of Multiple Choice Type .

SSC Multi Tasking Staff Exam consist of two stages:

Point to be remembered:

SSC Scientific Assistant Exam Pattern 2018

  1. The whole paper will be objective.
  2. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  3. Paper will have two parts. Each part is compulsory to attempt.
  4. There will be an overall cut off comprising of Part I & Part II together. There is no separate cut off for different parts.
  5. There will no sectional cut off for different subjects.
